Plain-language terms for using Sightline during early access. Not yet reviewed by a solicitor. Treat as an honest description of how the service currently works, not a substitute for legal advice.

The service

Sightline reads a photographed or typed/dictated window and door survey sheet and produces a make-size elevation drawing, trade compliance flags, and a printable order sheet. It is a drafting aid: it speeds up and helps standardise the survey-to-order step. It does not replace a qualified person's final check before manufacture.

Compliance checks are flags, not guarantees. Sightline highlights sashes, sizes, and glass notes that may need attention under Irish building regulations (e.g. TGD B escape openings) based on estimated profile and glass data. These are drafting-aid estimates to prompt a human check, not a certification of compliance. Final responsibility for a compliant, buildable order always rests with the fabricator/installer, exactly as it would with a manual survey.

Accounts

New accounts require approval before the first sheet read, to protect shared service capacity.
Each account has a monthly cap on the number of sheet reads.
You are responsible for reviewing and correcting every extracted item before printing or ordering from it. Sightline shows every read result for confirmation and never acts on an unconfirmed read.

Data and retention

See the Privacy Policy for what is collected and for how long. Saved surveys are kept 30 days and then automatically deleted; export or print anything you need to keep before then.

Early access / pricing

Sightline is currently offered on an early-access basis. Trial terms, any applicable fees, and account limits are agreed directly between Sightline and each company at signup and may be updated as the product matures; we'll tell you before anything changes for your account.

Acceptable use

Don't use the service to submit content you don't have the right to submit, attempt to bypass account caps or approval gating, or use it in a way that disrupts the service for other users.

Availability

Sightline is provided as-is during early access. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; core survey extraction depends on third-party AI infrastructure (Anthropic) which may occasionally be degraded outside our control.
